Cultivating new habits or changing old habits is tough.
Did you know, only 8% of the people achieve their new year resolutions. That’s because longer and unrealistic promises tend to make you lose your motivation quickly.
A good alternative to all those lost new year resolutions would be the 30-day challenges. According to a source, it takes 21 days to build a habit into your routine. And 30 day challenges help you ingrain with the same, even if you skip a couple of days.
In fact, the head of Google Webspam team, Matt Cutts loves taking up a new challenge every 30 days.
There are loads of things you can do for a 30 day challenge but remember you have to be very specific with your goal if you want to make it work. For example, instead of “eating healthy for 30 days”, “Eating 5 servings of fruit every day” would be a more specific and doable goal.
I have compiled a list of 30 day challenge ideas in this infographic. Check it out.
